About this plant
Chandragiri is an Arabica coffee selection released by the Central Coffee Research Institute (CCRI) at Balehonnur, Karnataka. It forms a compact, semi-dwarf bush that suits closer planting, and it is grown by many estates in Karnataka's coffee districts, including Kodagu.
Our seedlings are raised in polybags under nursery shade. Arabica does best at higher elevations with good shade management, so tell us your estate's elevation and shade cover and we will help you decide whether Chandragiri is right for your land.
We recommend following the Coffee Board of India's current guidance on spacing, shade and nutrition for your region.
